The usual offsetting to the grey end papers. The pages remain clean. Free from erasures and inscriptions. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good+ condition. The dust wrapper, strikingly designed by Tom Simmonds and Trevor Vertigan has some very slight rubbing to the top and bottom edges, and at the spine tips. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £2.00 net and 40s net prices. Tape repair to the rear panel. The original publishers red clothbound boards are free from notable chips and marks and are tight at the spine. The text blocks are mostly clean, but with some foxing to the top edge and some slight toning to throughout. This copy with a small name and date to the head of the front endpaper and is, overall, a very good (or better) copy. Scarce.
