New York, Corinth Books/Citadel Press, 1963, hardcover, xvi-351 pp, First Edition, First Printing, Fine in Near Fine dustjacket, signed and dated 'Amiri Baraka 98' by the editor on the front endpaper. Straight, tight and clean with no markings, light bump to head of spine. Dustjacket unclipped bearing original price, slight edge bumps, spine lettering a bit rubbed, in original glassine sleeve. A compilation of the short writings of the major new talents of the time many of whom have become authors of modern American classics. Contributors include; Jack Kerouac, Robert Creeley, William Burroughs, Hubert Selby Jr., Diane Di Prima and LeRoi Jones himself, many of the pieces appear in print for the first time.

A rare publication of early Piero Heliczer poems from The Dead Language (the pioneering avant-garde press run by Heliczer and Angus MacLise). Includes a note on Helczer by Anselm Hollo (dated November 1962). Unmarked copy, typical light chipping wear to extremities.

Lawrence, KS: Abingdon Book Shop, 1966. 1st edition. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket (as issued). Near VG. 4to, 40pp, printed wrappers. Ninth amazing issue of this classic 1960s little magazine; includes poems by Charles Bukowski and others, very early underground comix work by S. Clay Wilson and a Gerard Malanga centerfold. This copy is addressed to poet Fielding Dawson and has a bump at top edge, original staple holes, and soiled covers with small cover tears and holes (no writing in interior).

Unusually nice copy of this scarce oversized mid-seventies issue of the classic San Francisco underground Beat magazine, includes a range of luminaries. Unmarked copy with light wear and toning.

Very nice copy of this scarce elegantly designed and printed magazine edited by J.H. Prynne, with work by him and by Charles Olson, Ed Dorn, Robert Creeley, and others. No markings, very minor wear.

Gothenburg, Sweden: Radium 226.05 Magazine, 1986. 1st edition. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket (as issued). VG+. 4to, 96pp (plus insert print), printed wrappers. Rare and excellent magazine from Sweden (content in English), includes writing by and portrait photographs of William Burroughs, Brion Gysin, Genesis P-Orridge, et al. Schottlaender C524. Owner monogram to blank inside front cover (no other markings), erasure mark to front cover.

Jack KerouacThe Dharma Bums. A very nice copy of this classic from the Beat Generation. Viking, New York 1958, pp. 244. First Edition with unclipped dust jacket. Text is clean, unmarked and tight. The original black cloth covers lettered in silver and green are unmarked, and the book is in FINE CONDITION. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with only slight scuffing and the inside of the front flap has a faint pink mark over the price, See photo.

"TIME, a book of words and pictures by William Burroughs, and with 4 drawings by Brion Gysin." A limited English printing made on a spirit duplicator, a collector has told me, by poet Jim Pennington of Brighton. The original printings by 'C' Press were less than 1000 copies, some signed. These are rare. But for English Burroughs collectors especially, this 'pirate' edition is what circulated in the UK and was influential on the underground circuit.This copy was obtained by me from Unicorn Bookshop who was publishing a book of mine at the time.15 sheets printed on both sides. The soft duplicated sheets are attached with staples along the top edge. Paper is tanned with age. (see 7 photos)

Four 8.5" x 11" pages, mimeographed both sides and stapled in upper corner, some age-toning mainly to front and rear page, two tiny closed edge tears, a few small spots. Produced for the Poets' Theater, the play/poem is contemporary with her editing of the Floating Bear periodical along with Amiri Baraka (LeRoi Jones) and mentions Ray Johnson, Bob Heide, Herbert Huncke, Nick Cernovitch, George Herms, Billy Linich, John Wieners, and others.

A rare issue (300 copies printed) of Carl Weissner's seminal sixties magazine from the center of the literary avant-garde. Includes cut-up and concrete work. Unmarked copy, a little spotting, faint must, includes laid-in drawing plate.

Jonathan Cape. London. 1964. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (7.1 x 5.5 inches). Text and illustrations by Lennon printed in blue and brown throughout. Neat previous owner name, dated 1964, on the front blank free endpaper, otherwise a very good copy throughout. Rubbed to the edges of the boards but overall a good copy in publishers original boards with photo of John by Robert Freeman on the front.
